Our Story

TRR Food Products Co., Ltd. was founded by Mr. Pichai and Ms. Amornrat Theerachotmongkol. Both founders shared a passion for cooking and saw an opportunity to develop Thai seasonings during an era when options were still limited. This led to the establishment of "Thai Rung Ruang Chilli Sauce Co., Ltd." in 1961. They began with a "special chili sauce recipe" that the family regularly ate with omelets. This product became the origin of the "Mabin" and "Ruer Hang Yao Koo" brands.

The "Mabin" represents determination, strength, and growth.
The "Ruer Hang Yao Koo" represents speed and confident forward movement.


Throughout its history, the company has diversified its product line, introducing sweet and sour sauce, suki sauce, and plum sauce to meet the diverse needs of consumers. It also launched the "Rose Brand Sweet and Sour Sauce" specifically to penetrate the markets in neighboring countries. Due to continuous growth, the original factory in Chom Thong District, Bangkok, became inadequate for production. Consequently, in 1999, the company relocated its production base to Mueang District, Samut Sakhon Province, on a site of over 9 rai. The company is currently managed by the second-generation heir, Mr. Kraisak Theerachotimongkol, who prioritizes efficient management systems based on the TQM approach and is committed to maintaining international quality standards, as certified by ISO 22000, GMP, HACCP, Halal, and Thai Select.
 

 

  During the 2019 COVID-19 crisis, the company strategically shifted its focus from the restaurant market to the consumer market in order to diversify risks and create new business opportunities. In 2024, the company launched the "Makin" brand, a Ready-to-Cook (RTC) product line designed to cater to the modern urban lifestyle, which demands convenience and speed while maintaining authentic Thai flavors. The name "Makin" was inspired by the Theerachotmongkol family's invitation to dine together, and is phonetically similar to "Mabin," the symbol of the company's origins. Later, in 2025, the company launched the "Khun Orn" brand in response to the growing popularity of the sukiyaki and grilled food market. The name "Khun Orn" was inspired by the family's eldest sister, who was born at the same time as the company, reflecting its sincerity and a reputation for trusted taste. Also in 2025, the company officially changed its name from "Thai Rung Ruang Chilli Sauce Co., Ltd." to "TRR Food Products." The acronym "TRR" stands for "Thai Rung Ruang," reflecting the company's expansion from sauces into a diverse range of food products, and continuing the family's commitment to delivering the delicious tastes of Thai cuisine to the world in a sustainable manner
