Chinese Cabbage with Suki Sauce

Ingredients
minced chicken 250 grams
diced fresh shiitake mushrooms 1/4 cup
diced carrots, blanched until softened 1/4 cup
Chinese cabbage for wrapping    
oyster sauce 1 tablespoon
light soy sauce 1 tablespoon
soy sauce 1 tablespoon
sesame oil 1 tablespoon
sugar 1 tablespoon
A pinch of ground pepper    
Shallots for garnish    

Directions
  1. Prepare a mixing bowl. Add the minced chicken, shiitake mushrooms, and carrots. Season with oyster sauce, light soy sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and ground pepper. Then, knead the mixture with your palms and let it sit for at least half an hour.
  2. Bring water to a boil and add the Chinese cabbage leaves to a boil until tender. Then soak in cold water.
  3. Scoop the filling onto the Chinese cabbage. Use a knife to cut off the stems and excess, then wrap the four corners around the chicken. Set aside.
  4. Steam for 8-10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Serve with sukiyaki sauce.
